Artworks that are oil paintings on stretched canvas will be shipped to you mounted on 3/8” black Gatorboard for extra strength free of charge. You purchased painting will arrive to you in thin (under 1” wide) frame, so artwork is ready to be hung out of box. If you prefer that painting shipped with no frame at all, contact us via email: zufar@russera.com and we will pay you back $20-$60 depending on size of the painting.
If oil painting created over 6 months ago it will be varnished for you with archival varnish Gamvar Satin or Glossy that provides protection against UV light, dust and mold. More info about varnishing artworks can be found here: gamblincolors.com/why-varnish/
If you prefer a final frame, we can ship your purchase to your Frameshop of choice, or we can frame it at Wholesale Frame Company located in Meriden, Conn.
